The Answers To Our Most Asked Questions
Q: When do you photograph outdoor sessions?
A: I love golden hour; I believe that mornings and evenings have the very best outdoor light for portraits. You will avoid squinting and splotchy lighting across your image. I save the midday harsh light for studio portraits with controlled lighting. Outdoor sessions are offered Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings by appointment.

A: Yes, I will absolutely help. I love the planning and session prep process.
I can always send you some coordinating examples as we talk through your specific needs. Here a few helpful tip as you begin:
1.) Matching khaki's and white shirts are out, but coordinating nuetral clothing colors and styles are in.
2.) Avoid big bulky jewelry or bold patterns. Keep things simple. We want to focus on your personality.
3.) Use your home as inspiration. Coordinate your session clothing to compliment your homes decor and look beautiful when displayed in your space.
4.) Avoid large logo and characters as they can date your image.
5.) Baggy shirts and clothing tend to make you look larger. Choose fitted clothing, you will not regret it.
Q: I don't know how to pose, will you pose me?
A: Yes, I will!
Most of my clients have never modeled. I have decades of experience directing my clients into poses that look natural and allow them to feel their best. I will put you in a pose; then I'll fix your hair, move your neckless to the front, check hand positions, remove unwanted wristbands, look for cell phones in mens pockets and other small details that get missed. Finally I give actions that get real reactions and show your personality.
Q: Do you retouch the images?
A: Everything I deliver is fully retouched. I fix fly away hairs, touch up blemishes, reduce wrinkles and can even make you thinner if requested. I focus on quality over quantity.
Q: What is your turnaround time?
A: One week for proofing and viewing your session.
